Somerset Christian College

Somerset Christian College (SCC) offers LEAD to provide adult students a non-traditional opportunity to complete a baccalaureate degree for the advancement of their professional careers and for personal achievement. Students proceed through the program utilizing a collaborative small group format, called a cohort. Cohorts proceed through a well-planned series of courses and experiences leading to the completion of a bachelor degree at an accelerated pace of approximately 18 - 20 months. This cohort configuration creates supportive communities to facilitate learning and collective completion of the program. Somerset Christian College’s full-time and adjunct faculty facilitators are equipped to provide a relevant and interactive experience to adult learners

To enable students to fit this program into their already busy lives, the College has scheduled 16 modular courses one night a week from 6-10 p.m., for the duration of the program. Each course is accompanied by a detailed Student Guide written in a consistent style. The Student Guide gives assignments for each week and details the open book final paper/exam which is completed at home.
