Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology

Do you feel called to the helping professions? The M.A. in Counseling Psychology program is a 48-51 semester credit course of study that integrates the discipline of psychology with its roots in science and theory, the art of counseling, and a Christian worldview. Explore ethical issues related to counseling and the theoretical and research bases of the discipline. Synthesize and apply knowledge and skills in a clinical setting. Prepare yourself to counsel in a variety of practices or further your professional education. The program meets the State of Minnesota requirements for Licensed Professional Counselor (Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy). Complete the program in 2 or 3 years, including a short summer break.
