The B.A. in Liberal Arts with Licensure in Elementary Education equips students to impact the next generation of learners. Throughout the elementary education degree program, students gain knowledge on educational theory and participate in experiential learning opportunities that put them in the classroom. This unique combination helps students develop competencies that enable them to become effective teachers in both public and private schools. Students graduate from the elementary education degree program with the skills, experience, and credentials necessary to teach kindergarten through sixth grade. (Colorado State teaching for elementary education licensure requires a passing score on the PLACE exam.)
