The Entrepreneurship Certificate has as its focus “entrepreneurship as mission” whether that is incorporating an entrepreneurial mindset at your current company; starting and running a business; efforts in social, sustainable and mission entrepreneurship; or achieving growth for sustainability in your entrepreneurial venture. Entrepreneurship has been shown to be a driver of wealth creation in every economy where it occurs, and this program equips students to influence their world.
Program Benefits:
The Entrepreneurship Certificate helps students develop skills related to the realm of entrepreneurship as a mission. Entrepreneurship is your vehicle to sharing the Gospel on the mission field, whether in starting a local franchise, working in a family business, or helping a village become self-sustainable overseas.
Course content will craft an entrepreneurial mindset, vital for business start-ups as well as those who work in established organizations. Students will be required to evaluate opportunities to promote self-employment through creativity and the use of God-given talents. They will be inspired to "catch the vision" and be given tools that will allow them to implement social, sustainable, and mission-oriented entrepreneurship.
The program provides students with accredited college credits that can be used to complete a CCU bachelor’s degree.
Entrepreneurship students have the opportunity to participate in CCU’s annual Values-Aligned Leadership Summit, a one-day conference designed to bring business executives and students together to discuss the role of values and ethics in today’s workplace.
Courses can be taken either in the classroom or online, providing maximum flexibility to study at convenient times and places
