Master of Education in Advanced Literacy Instruction

Our Master of Education with a specialization in Advanced Literacy Instruction will prepare you, as a teacher, for literacy instruction at early childhood, elementary, middle school or high school levels. You will have the opportunity to strengthen teaching of reading and writing across the curriculum. In addition, upon completion of this program you will qualify for the State of Texas Reading Specialist examination. Other highlights of this program include:
