Applied Liberal Arts

This college is currently inactiveThe Applied Liberal Arts Major offers a core of courses that enhance your knowledge in the areas of communication and critical thinking.  Beyond the core courses, you can select between a Business Emphasis or Education Emphasis.

Business Emphasis
Understand aesthetics, culture, human motivation and behavior. Learn the essential tools for communicating in the workplace, strategizing marketing activities and managing an office team. Use this knowledge immediately in the workplace or as a foundation for your MBA.

 
Prepare you for teaching elementary grades and the California Subject Examination for Teachers (CSET). Classes include educational psychology and teaching math, science, and language development.
