Master of Education
The Master of Education degrees offered include Curriculum & Instruction with specializations in Special Education or Generalist and Leadership of Learning with specializations in Conflict Resolution for Educators and Leadership of Digital Learning. In addition, ACU offers graduate certificates in Leadership of Digital Learning and Superintendency.
Leadership of Digital Learning - Prepare to be a leader with digital savvy and lead change amid the anxiety, complexity and potential of transforming education to the new digital learning environment. This program is offered as a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction, or Leadership, or as a Graduate Certificate.
Curriculum & Instruction: Generalist or Special Education - The Generalist prepares you to supervise instructional and support personnel at the school building, facility or staff level. The Special Education option gives you the skills and knowledge to design and deliver teaching and other educational services to children or adults with special learning needs or disabilities.
Higher Education - Prepare for professional careers in a broad range of higher education settings such as residence life director, academic advisor, financial aid counselor, career services advisor, and many others.
Leadership of Learning (Principalship) - Prepare for leadership roles such as principal, department chair and others in public and private K-12 schools.
Superintendency Certificate - Prepare to become a school leader for the essential position of superintendent of K-12 schools.
Conflict Resolution for Educators Certificate - Develop practical skills for dealing with conflict as an educator.
