Master of Arts in Education K-12

The M.A. in Education K-12 degree program is a 32-33 semester credit program designed for experienced K-12 educators. The program focuses on how you can further develop your leadership roles and responsibilities as an educator. Examine ways to improve your students’ classroom experience. From strategies for classroom management to methods for improving instruction, find ideas you can apply in your classroom today.

The program offers flexibility in several concentrations. The Differentiated Concentration, offered online, is recommended. Additional concentrations with their delivery methods include:

1.    Autism Spectrum Disorders Certificate: face-to-face
2.    Educational Administration Concentration: hybrid (one face-to-face and two online courses)
3.    International Baccalaureate* Education Certificate: face-to-face
4.    Reading Concentration: face-to-face
5.    Special Education Concentration: hybrid (a combination of face-to-face and online courses)
6.    Teacher Coordinator of Work-Based Learning License: online
