Master of Education

The Oklahoma Wesleyan University Master of Education is designed for teachers and educational professionals who, upon completion of the degree, will possess the appropriate knowledge, skills, and professional abilities necessary to be a master teacher in the classroom. It is also designed to prepare for executive managerial and administrative positions in schools, central offices, and ministry organizations. A distinctive of the OKWU graduate experience is to incorporate the study of Christian values and ethics.

 

The Masters of Education at Oklahoma Wesleyan University incorporates a Christian worldview into academically challenging courses. Using cutting edge technology to facilitate learning, the program provides information that both veteran teachers and those that have yet to set foot in a classroom use in today's educational setting. OKWU is approved for teacher education by the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE).
